A TEACHER
If you love your job more as time goes by.
If your punishments are the fruit of
love, and not revenge.
If in each of your classes you try
to renew yourself.
If you know how to follow a method
without becoming a slave.
If instead of teaching you also know
how to learn.
If you know how to study again what
you thought you knew.
If you know how to instruct, and
better still educate.
If your students long to be like
you, then … you are a teacher.
